"Verizon Wireless is committed to providing our customers with the best network," said Greg Haller, president, Indiana/Kentucky/Michigan Region, Verizon Wireless. "We understand our customers expect that when they press 'send' on their wireless phones, their calls will go through, sound clear and stay connected for the duration of their conversation. That's why we spent more than $67 million on our network last year. In 2004, our network remains our top priority."

Verizon Wireless has invested more than $12 billion over the past three years in its national network, offering customers access to the most extensive and reliable wireless voice and data network in the United States.
