JOPLIN, MO — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider with 37.5 million customers, today announced the addition of two new employees in Joplin.
Debbie Blackmon has been named manager of the Verizon Wireless Communications Store at 111 North Rangeline Road. In this role, Blackmon oversees all aspects of sales and service for the greater Joplin geographic area. She manages all of the employees at the retail location and represents Verizon Wireless in the community. Blackmon, a long-time Joplin resident, comes to Verizon Wireless after five years of media sales at a local television station.
Rachelle Coleman brings many years of experience in the wireless communications field to her new position as business account executive. Coleman joined Verizon Wireless in July 2002 as sales representative for the business community in Wichita, Kan., before joining the Joplin team. She previously spent eight years with another wireless communications company. Rachelle is responsible for establishing and managing business accounts for Verizon Wireless.
