ATLANTA, BEDMINSTER, NJ and HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, Surfline, a leading action sports media company, and NINJA Mobile, a California-based mobile solutions provider, today announced the release of Surfline MOBILE, a wireless application that allows Verizon Wireless Get It Now customers to access Surfline's trademark surf reports and forecasts via their wireless phones. The application joins the popular Surfline PRO wireless surfing game, also available on Get It Now.

Surfline MOBILE offers access to the world's most reliable surf report network, giving Verizon Wireless Get It Now customers a precise reading on conditions at nearly 100 beaches around the globe. Each report features a forecast summary, along with detailed wave heights, wind data, water temperatures, tide readings and more. Reports are posted by 7 a.m., with regional wind updates every thirty minutes.

Verizon Wireless customers can visit the getGOING shopping aisle of the Get It Now virtual store and select Weather to download Surfline MOBILE over the air onto their phones for $1.99 monthly access. Surfline MOBILE is available on select Get It Now-enabled phones, including the LG VX4400, LG VX6000 and Motorola T720.

And when the surf's flat and it's no day at the beach, Verizon Wireless customers can power up with the Surfline PRO surfing game. Surf's up in the getGAMES shopping aisle of the Get It Now virtual store for $1.99 monthly access or $5.75 for unlimited use purchase. Download charges for Get It Now applications vary and airtime charges apply when browsing, downloading and using certain applications.

"Surfline.com has become an important part of the lives of millions of surfers, fishermen, boaters and general beach enthusiasts, and the new Surfline MOBILE service allows us to extend the Surfline experience beyond the desktop — providing our loyal users the Surfline information they know and love, whenever and wherever they need it."
