Verizon Wireless' Music Unleashed Concert Series Kicks Off With Maroon 5

Verizon Wireless Technology Gives Fans an Enhanced Concert Experience With Opportunities to Win Free Tickets and Remix Maroon 5's #1 Single, "This Love" into a Wireless Ring Tone

BEDMINSTER, NJ — Verizon Wireless' Music Unleashed Concert SeriesSM debuts this month with pop, rock, funk, soul and Jazz band, Maroon 5's 'Songs About Jane' grassroots, college music tour. Verizon Wireless' Music Unleashed Concert Series will continue throughout the year with other top bands promoting mobile music that fans can personalize and legally share.

The www.maroon5concerts.com website opens the door to register-to-win concert tickets, a web-based music remixing tool that allows fan2fan sharing of music and more. In addition to Maroon 5 ring tones that are accessible for the first time to fans who are also Verizon Wireless Get It Now® customers, new and unique content will be available from each Maroon 5 concert. Get It Now, available on selected handsets, is Verizon Wireless virtual shopping mall with some 350 downloadable games, ring tones and productivity tools.

Fans can win tickets by entering an online sweepstakes at www.maroon5concerts.com or by text messaging to the short code "2004" and then specifying which concert they wish to attend. Ten winners in each city will win a pair of tickets to the concert and the opportunity to meet Maroon 5 after the show. Text messaging charges will apply.

Fans are also encouraged to enter a skill-based contest by remixing Maroon 5's #1 single "This Love" online. Each time fans make and email a remix, they will be entered into a daily lottery drawing where one finalist will be selected each day. From the pool of remix finalists, Maroon 5 will choose the winning remix and make one fan a star. The winner and a guest will not only fly to the final concert in Las Vegas, NV at The House of Blues on May 17th for the red carpet treatment, but also receive a $2,500 cash prize in recognition of their star-making music remix. The prize-winning remix will debut at the concert as well as be produced as a ring tone and made available for sale through Modtones as the "Official Remix of the Maroon 5 tour."

College fans can also go online to enter the College Campus Remix contest where a winner will be selected from each school on the tour. Prizes include a pair of Maroon 5 concert tickets a backstage meeting with the band and a chance to win an iPod mini. Individuals may enter both the Maroon 5 Grand Remix and the Maroon 5 College Remix, however if they are selected via random drawing for one contest ("Grand Remix or College Remix"), they are ineligible for selection in the other.

Participants must be 13 and older to enter any of the Maroon 5 sweepstakes or Remix contests.
