Verizon Wireless and eMbience Announce Masttones Exotic Indian Melodies Debut on Get It Now Mobile Phones

BEDMINSTER, NJ and SAN DIEGO, CA — Exotic Indian melodies, romantic strains of the sitar and driving beats now can be experienced through Get It Now® from Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, with the introduction of MasttonesTM Indian-themed polyphonic ringtones. Created by eMbience Inc., a leading developer and publisher of wireless software, in partnership with Faith West Inc., Masttones lets Verizon Wireless customers select ringtones from song categories ranging from Punjabi blends mixed with hip hop rhythms to traditional Indian favorites to hits from the latest Indian films.

Masttones enables Verizon Wireless Get It Now customers to personalize their mobile phones with a genre of music new to the wireless industry. Customers can find Masttones in the getTONES shopping aisle on select Get It Now-enabled phones and preview ringtones before they buy. Downloaded ringtones can be set as the default ringers on customers' phones or can be assigned to specific callers.

Masttones ringtones are initially available on the Get It Now-enabled Verizon Wireless LG VX6000 phone for $1.99 for one tone, $7.49 for five tones or $12.49 for 10 tones. Download charges for Get It Now applications vary and airtime charges apply when browsing, downloading and using certain applications.
