BEDMINSTER, NJ, SAN DIEGO and SANTA MONICA, CA — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, and Activision, Inc., (Nasdaq: ATVI) a leading worldwide developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment, announced today that the Shrek® fairytale has come to life for Verizon Wireless customers with the availability of the Shrek 2™ wireless game for Verizon Wireless Get It Now® customers. Shrek 2, the wireless game, lets players embark on adventures based on the hit movie by playing as the film's main characters, including Shrek, Donkey, Princess Fiona™ and Puss in Boots™.

In the Shrek 2 wireless game, Shrek, everyone's favorite ogre, is a long way from his swamp and facing his wildest, scariest adventure yet. Verizon Wireless Get It Now customers can control a team of up to four characters, switching between them to complete wild and challenging adventures while dodging and defeating enemies.

Shrek 2, the wireless game, is available in the getGAMES shopping aisle of the Get It Now virtual store. Verizon Wireless customers can download the Shrek 2 wireless game onto select Get It Now-enabled phones, including the LG VX4400, VX6000, and VX4600, for just $2.99 monthly access or $6.99 for unlimited use purchase. Download charges for Get It Now applications vary and airtime charges apply when browsing, downloading and using certain applications. Customers need a Get It Now-enabled handset and Verizon Wireless digital service to access the Get It Now virtual store.
