LEWISVILLE, TX — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, has named Bobby Williams as strategic account manager. He will focus on identifying, qualifying, and closing new accounts as well as managing existing national accounts in North Texas.

"Bobby's enthusiasm and extensive sales experience will help Verizon Wireless expand its reach to more business to business customers in North Texas," said Jim Wells, manager of strategic sales for Verizon Wireless. "He will be a great asset to the strategic account team."

Williams has more than 19 years of telecommunications and sales experience. Most recently he worked for three years as a sales manager and account executive for Time Warner Telecom in Dallas. He has also worked for six years in sales at Worldcom, and its preceding companies. Williams is a resident of Carrollton.
