LEWISVILLE, TX — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, has named David Weiner as strategic account manager. He will focus on identifying, qualifying, and closing new accounts as well as managing existing national accounts in North Texas.

"David has a wide range of experience in sales training and management," said Jim Wells, manager of strategic sales for Verizon Wireless. "He will bring a fresh perspective to our strategic account team."

Weiner worked for Frito-Lay for more than five years in sales training and management. He was most recently employed as assistant vice president at Full Spectrum Lending in Plano, a division of Countrywide Home Loans. He graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism and currently resides in Dallas.
