TROY, MI — Verizon Wireless recently opened a new Communications Store in Oakland Mall in Troy, bringing to 11 the number of its retail outlets in Oakland County and 44 across Michigan.
"This new store reflects the growing demand for our products and services as well as our intent to bring our stores closer to where our customers live and work," said Greg Haller, president Michigan/Indiana/Kentucky Region, Verizon Wireless. "Based on the large, diverse range of shoppers who visit Oakland Mall, this is an ideal location for Verizon Wireless' new store."
The Oakland Mall store offers an expansive array of wireless products and services, including several phones and accessories as well as many data services such as Picture Messaging, TXT messaging, high-speed Internet connections through NationalAccess and Get It Now® service, which offers downloadable ringtones and games.
The new store, managed by Gilda Smith, is located next to the food court near the mall's main entrance. Store hours are 10 a.m. 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. 6 p.m., on Sunday. The telephone number is 248-588-9507.
