CHICAGO, IL — Don't miss your chance to meet Chicago Cubs star slugger and second baseman Ramon Martinez! Visit the Verizon Wireless Communications Store at 3620 W. Irving Park Road in Chicago on Thursday, Sept. 9, and get a free autographed photo of this popular Chicago Cub. Martinez will make an appearance at the store to sign autographs from 5—7 p.m.

While planning your visit, don't forget to bring your no-longer-used wireless phones and donate them to the Verizon Wireless HopeLinesm program. Through its award-winning HopeLine program, the company collects no-longer-used wireless phones and accessories from any wireless service provider. Most of the phones and equipment are refurbished and sold; then the company uses the proceeds to purchase newer wireless phones for domestic violence survivors and to support domestic violence shelters and organizations. The remaining phones are recycled in an environmentally friendly way.
