BEDMINSTER, NJ and HOLLYWOOD, CA — CinemaElectric Inc. (CINM.PK), a leading global producer of entertainment and mobile multimedia applications for mobile phones, and Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, today announced the availability of CinemaElectric's made-for-mobile original short content from PocketCinemaTM on V CAST from Verizon Wireless. V CAST is the first true 3G wireless broadband consumer multimedia service in the country, allowing Verizon Wireless customers to view crystal clear video clips on demand because it runs on Verizon Wireless' Evolution-Data Optimized (EV-DO) network — the only widely available wide-area wireless broadband network in the United States. The V CAST coverage area, which mirrors Verizon Wireless' EV-DO network, is available in more than 30 major metropolitan markets and covers more than 75 million people.

With CinemaElectric content, V CAST customers have access to some of the latest and most entertaining celebrity, fashion and action sport programming available on wireless phones today. CinemaElectric delivers new short content each day from PocketCinema's following programs:

  • Portable Hollywood highlights the hottest celebrities, latest movies, parties, music, DVDs and bizarre happenings in Hollywood, including interviews, behind the scenes, red carpet footage and an original made-for-mobile reality series called WANNABE FAMOUS. The program also includes audience interaction via text messaging and MMS (multimedia messaging) and contests, quizzes and trivia.
  • Electric Catwalk brings cutting-edge fashions fresh off the catwalk direct to V CAST phones. The clips highlight the hottest designers, latest trends, models, shows, shopping and events in the world of fashion, including behind-the-scenes and catwalk footage. This channel includes two original series, RETAIL THERAPY and MODEL BEHAVIOUR, featuring catwalk model Tanisha Harper.
  • Smash-Brain unleashes the energy and danger of action sports onto Verizon Wireless V CAST phones. From skateboarding to surfing, BMX to Motocross, Smash-Brain is a daily dose of everything extreme. Smash-Brain is hosted by pro-skater Jeff Ferris and includes the original made-for-mobile series SKATE 101 and interactive SMASH-BRAIN CHALLENGE, created especially for wireless phones.

For $15.00 monthly access added to their Verizon Wireless calling plan, customers get the V CAST VPak that includes unlimited access to a wide array of more than 300 daily updated video clips from leading content providers. CinemaElectric and unlimited basic video clips are included, but application download fees still apply for 3D games, premium short content, and all other Get It Now® applications. There are no airtime charges to download or stream and watch CinemaElectric video clips and other V CAST content. For a limited time, customers who sign up for V CAST receive two months of service free. Verizon Wireless V CAST customers also receive monthly access and unlimited browsing on Verizon Wireless' Mobile Web 2.0SM news and information service. In addition, customers can choose from premium video clip content, available at additional cost that will include music videos and more. With Windows Media delivering CinemaElectric short content to V CAST phones, Verizon Wireless customers receive a high quality wireless multimedia entertainment experience.

V CAST's array of hot new multimedia programming is located in the Get It Now virtual store — customers can access video clips from CinemaElectric and other favorite news, sports and entertainment providers in the getVIDEO shopping aisle and check out new cutting-edge 3D games in the getGAMES aisle. V CAST customers can find CinemaElectric short content in the Entertainment section of the getVIDEO shopping aisle. V CAST also gives customers unlimited airtime to browse and view applications in the other familiar Get It Now shopping aisles — such as getTONES and getGOING.

V CAST customers can experience CinemaElectric video clips on the new 3G-capable VX8000 phone that allows customers to download or stream content with just a few clicks and experience outstanding clarity and sharpness. The LG VX8000 is available to Verizon Wireless customers for $199.99 after $70 rebate with a two-year customer agreement.
