DALLAS, TX — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless provider, has named Keith Ables district manager for its D/FW West District. Ables will be responsible for overseeing all Verizon Wireless Communications Stores in the western area of the D/FW Metroplex, identifying creative sales opportunities, executing national marketing initiatives, increasing growth and ensuring excellence among the retail sales team.

"Keith's experience in sales management has allowed us to excel in customer service and sales," said Bill McKinney, director of Retail Sales for Verizon Wireless. "We are excited to have him as part of our team and expect to see his stores in the DFW region grow rapidly under his leadership."

Ables has nearly 10 years of retail management experience, most recently serving as the manager of the Verizon Wireless Communications Store in Tyler. He joined Verizon Wireless after more than two years at AT&T Wireless. He also spent six years as a sales manager for Best Buy at locations in New York, Iowa and Texas. Ables attended Tyler Junior College.
