SOUTHFIELD, MI — Verizon Wireless has named Mark Frazier director of retail sales for the company's Michigan/Indiana/Kentucky Region. In his new role, Frazier is responsible for all sales activity and operations in the region's 110 company-owned Communications Stores and Kiosks, including its new Circuit City locations.

Since October 2001, Frazier served as director of business sales in the company's Kansas/Missouri Region. Prior to that, he held several management positions with increasing responsibility. Before joining Verizon Wireless in 1992, he was a market manager for United States Cellular in Texas.

Frazier lives in White Lake, Mich.
