BEDMINSTER, NJ and SAN DIEGO, CA — Verizon Wireless, the nation's leading wireless service provider, today announced Eudora2go will be available in the coming weeks to customers with select Get It Now®-enabled phones, enabling them to access their e-mail via a mobile Eudora® e-mail client. Developed for QUALCOMM by Intellisync and Rockliffe, Inc., the Eudora2go mobile e-mail suite will be accompanied by Eudora2go.net, a hosted e-mail service with anti-virus and anti-spam protection, and will also feature PreMailTM -- a robust SMS-displayed message that allows a Eudora2go user to preview the content of an email message, saving them the time needed to download the entire message.

"With today's busy lifestyles, access to e-mail while on the go is a must have for many of our customers," said Jim Straight, vice president of wireless Internet and multimedia services for Verizon Wireless. "The upcoming availability of the Eudora2go e-mail suite on Get It Now will provide a compelling new e-mail offering, with innovative functionality like SMS-preview features that make the service fast and easy to use."

"The widely popular Eudora e-mail brand is expanding into the most logical market for an innovative software program -- the wireless space," said Bill Ganon, vice president of QUALCOMM's Eudora products group. "Verizon Wireless is once again demonstrating their commitment to their customers by offering Eudora2go, an innovative and truly useful e-mail service to Get It Now customers."

Eudora2go is full-featured POP3 and IMAP e-mail client that presents the familiar functionality and graphic elements based on the highly popular Eudora desktop e-mail application. Verizon Wireless customers will be able to download Eudora2go from the getMESSAGING shopping aisle on select Get It Now-enabled phones. Download charges for Get It Now applications vary and airtime charges apply when browsing, downloading and using certain applications. Customers need a Get It Now-enabled handset and Verizon Wireless digital service to access the Get It Now virtual store.

Verizon Wireless products and services are available at more than 1,900 Verizon Wireless stores nationwide, including Verizon Wireless Communications Stores and stores within Circuit City, as well as at authorized retailers including Best Buy and participating RadioShack locations.
