Verizon Wireless Opens Newest Communications Store In Watauga, Texas, With Ceremonial "Wire" Cutting

WATAUGA, TX — To stay ahead of the growing demand for its products and services, Verizon Wireless, the nation's wireless leader in customer loyalty, has opened its newest Communications Store in Watauga at the Southeast corner of North Tarrant Parkway & Denton Highway. The new store is designed to make wireless shopping more convenient for new customers and provide current customers with greater access to customer and technical support services. A grand opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 20 at noon with a "wire" cutting ceremony conducted by the North East Tarrant County Chamber of Commerce.

The new store features a variety of wireless products and services for customers including V CAST and TXT Messaging, Picture Messaging, BroadbandAccess high-speed wireless Internet access and Get It Now® applications, including ring tones, games, productivity applications and more. The store is also fully staffed for customer service and technical support allowing customers to speak with Verizon Wireless' highly trained representatives about all their wireless needs.

The new Watauga store also features:

  • An extensive customer service and technical support area totaling over 25% of the overall retail square footage
  • A top-of-the-line self service center featuring a bill payment kiosk
  • An informational video displayed on a 40" LCD screen, providing current and prospective customers with information on the latest handsets and accessories, wireless tips, roadside assistance, customer service, the Verizon Wireless network, account management options
