ORANGEBURG, NY — Nassau County resident Tony Solino, field engineer for Verizon Wireless, has received the company's President's Award for Excellence which recognizes employees for exceptional teamwork, leadership and outstanding customer service.
Solino was honored for his technical expertise in installing network equipment for the company's new switching office in Farmingdale and his commitment to maintaining a reliable network and quality service for customers on Long Island. He also was instrumental in the launch last year of the Verizon Wireless high-speed data network at JFK and La Guardia airports.
Solino was one of six Verizon Wireless employees to receive the President's Award for Excellence.
