BEDMINSTER, NJ — Verizon Wireless, owner and operator of the only national wide-area wireless broadband network in the United States, announced today its BroadbandAccess wide-area wireless broadband service is available to travelers in 65 airports from coast to coast. BroadbandAccess from Verizon Wireless gives enterprise customers a fast resource to help them be productive and in touch with the office and customers when they are traveling, enabling them to tap into applications and tasks that are more suited to broadband data speeds. Verizon Wireless' BroadbandAccess gives customers the speed, mobility, productivity and simplicity ideal for mobile professionals in businesses small and large.

Fulfilling its promise to make its broadband network widely-available to customers by the end of 2005, Verizon Wireless today offers its wireless broadband network in major metropolitan areas from coast to coast. Verizon Wireless' BroadbandAccess service is also available today in the following airports:

    In an effort to bring the speed and mobility of Verizon Wireless' BroadbandAccess to more of its customers, Verizon Wireless also announced today a savings of 25% on BroadbandAccess for its new and existing voice customers. Now business customers with any Verizon Wireless monthly voice plan can receive unlimited BroadbandAccess for $59.99 monthly access with a two-year customer agreement. For non-voice customers, BroadbandAccess is available for $79.99 monthly access for unlimited use with a one- or two-year customer agreement. The savings is available to new and existing customers through December 31, 2005.

    Verizon Wireless offers several PC Cards for BroadbandAccess customers, including the UTStarcom Personal Communications PC 5740. The featured card in Verizon Wireless' PC Card line-up, the UTStarcom PC 5740 is available for $99.99 with a two-year customer agreement.
