DALLAS, TX — Verizon Wireless, the nation's wireless leader in customer loyalty, today announced the appointment of Gregory Brown as regional associate director of data sales. Based in Lewisville, Texas, Brown will help promote consumer awareness and use of Verizon Wireless data products and services across Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, the Rio Grande Valley, Shreveport, Louisiana, and Little Rock, Arkansas.

Brown comes to Verizon Wireless with more than 22 years of telecommunications industry experience. Previously, he spent a decade with Global Crossing in several sales management positions, most recently serving as sales director for the company's enterprise voice and data solution sales efforts in Texas. He also has held sales management roles for Comdata Corporation and MCI Telecommunications. Brown earned a bachelor's degree in telecommunications from the University of Indiana in Bloomington, Indiana.
