ORANGEBURG, NY — Verizon Wireless today announced the opening of a new authorized retail outlet in Scarsdale to make shopping for the company's wireless voice and data products more convenient for residents and local businesses. Wireless Voice, located at 1088 Central Avenue, now offers a variety of wireless phones, accessories and service from Verizon Wireless, owner and operator of the nation's most reliable wireless network.
Wireless Voice is owned by Jagdish and Monica Mitter who have served as a Verizon Wireless authorized retailers for the past three years with four other retail locations. The new store's hours are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Customers may activate Verizon Wireless service at Wireless Voice and shop for the latest in wireless technology, including V CAST, a 3G multimedia wireless service bringing streaming video content to wireless phones, TXT and Picture Messaging, Get It Now® applications, including downloadable ring tones and games, ringback tones, and high-speed wireless Internet connections with Verizon Wireless' BroadbandAccess and NationalAccess networks.
Verizon Wireless authorized retailers receive extensive training, as well as merchandising support and competitive commissions, after successfully completing a highly selective qualification process. Authorized retailers play a key role in the company's retail sales distribution strategy which includes 1,900 company-owned and operated Verizon Wireless Communications Stores nationwide.
