Verizon Wireless Expands Presence In Lake Worth, Texas, With New Communications Store

DALLAS, TX — To stay ahead of the growing demand for its products and services, Verizon Wireless, the nation's wireless leader in customer loyalty, has opened its newest Communications Store in Lake Worth located at the intersection of Highway 199 and Loop 820. The grand opening celebration will kick off on Jan. 25 and continue through the following weekend, featuring:

Wednesday, Jan. 25

• Fort Worth Brahmas players will sign autographs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Thursday, Jan. 26

• Lake Worth Chamber of Commerce and Verizon Wireless will conduct a ceremonial "Wire Cutting" event at Noon
• CASA 106.7 will broadcast live from the store from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
• Car and motorcycle show on Thursday evening where customers will have the chance to vote for their favorite through text and picture messaging
• The Dallas Cowboys "On Tour" traveling exhibit, a 53-foot specially fitted tractor trailer filled with Cowboys memorabilia

Friday, Jan. 27

• The Dallas Cowboys "On Tour" traveling exhibit, a 53-foot specially fitted tractor trailer filled with Cowboys memorabilia.

Saturday, Jan. 28

• Take a turn riding the mechanical bull from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
• Meet and receive autographs from the world-famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• 99.5 The Wolf will broadcast live from the store from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
• The Dallas Cowboys "On Tour" traveling exhibit, a 53-foot specially fitted tractor trailer filled with Cowboys memorabilia.

"As the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex continues to grow, Verizon Wireless is focused on meeting the needs of each customer and providing the highest level of service," said Luis M. Cruz, region president for Verizon Wireless. "The new Lake Worth location enhances our customers' overall experience with added convenience and access to our voice and data products and services."

As part of the grand opening, customers will receive a $10 gift card and activation fees will be waived with an annual service agreement when they shop at the new store through Jan. 28.

The new store features a variety of wireless products and services including TXT Messaging, Picture Messaging, BroadbandAccess wireless Internet access, ringback tones and Get It Now® applications, including ring tones, games, productivity applications and more.

The new store also features:

• An extensive customer service and technical support area totaling over 25 percent of the overall retail square footage
• A top-of-the-line self service center featuring a bill payment kiosk
• An informational video displayed on a 40" LCD screen, providing current and prospective customers with information on the latest handsets and accessories, wireless tips, roadside assistance, customer service, the Verizon Wireless network and account management options

Verizon Wireless has named Robin Campbell as Store Manager for the new Verizon Wireless Communications Store. Campbell will direct the daily activities of all store staff, including sales, customer service and technical assistance, helping new and existing customers find the wireless plan, product or service that meets their needs.

"Robin's experience in retail sales management will allow us to continue to excel in customer service and support," said Ken Rivera, district manager for Verizon Wireless. "We expect to see this new store grow rapidly under her strong leadership."
