DALLAS, TX — Verizon Wireless, owner and operator of the nation's most reliable network, has named Mark Silva as district manager for Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley. Silva will lead retail teams at local Verizon Wireless Communications Stores to maintain excellence in customer service and execute national marketing initiatives.
"We are thrilled to add Mark's skills and experience to the Verizon Wireless team in South Texas," said Ryan Chandler, director of Retail Sales for Verizon Wireless. "We have an opportunity to continue to grow our business in Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley, and Marco's knowledge of this area will be key to our future success."
Silva brings nearly a decade of sales management experience with Cingular Wireless to his current position. Most recently, he served as area retail sales manager for Cingular Wireless in Corpus Christi. Silva began his career in the United States Navy.
