Wireless Phone Users In Waukesha County, Wisconsin Now Experience Even Clearer Reception And Fewer Dropped Calls

Brookfield, WI — Verizon Wireless has installed a new cell site in Brookfield that expands coverage and increases capacity, enabling more customers to use their wireless phones concurrently to make calls, send and receive TXT and Picture Messages, and download games and ring tones while enjoying clearer reception and fewer dropped calls.

This new cell site improves Verizon Wireless' voice and data network in the communities of Brookfield and Elm Grove, along North Avenue and north to Burleigh Road, south to Watertown Plank Road, west to Pilgrim Road and east to 124th Street.

Reliable service is fundamental to customer loyalty, and Verizon Wireless boasts the highest customer loyalty in the industry. During the fourth quarter of 2005, only 1.2 percent of its customers disconnected their service, which is well below the industry average.

More than $30 million of this investment was spent in Wisconsin in 2005 to maintain and enhance its network.
