LAS VEGAS, BEDMINSTER, NJ and NEW YORK — Heavy.com, the number one digital entertainment brand, is bringing its original video programming exclusively to Verizon Wireless V CAST phones. The companies announced from CTIA Wireless 2006 today that V CAST will soon feature a Heavy V CAST channel where customers can cue up Heavy.com's video content, including original series, extreme sports live-action clips and pop culture spoofs, the hottest sketch comedy and viral videos.

More than 10 million unique viewers per month count on Heavy.com to provide them with their entertainment fix. Now V CAST customers can join in the fun with the Heavy V CAST Entertainment channel. The channel features nine tongue-in-cheek sub-channels, including "Hairy Women of Rock," "Pop Tartlets," "Hip to the Hop," "Dudes and Duds of Rock," "Krash-o-Rama", "Pranks," "More Cowbell," "Motocross Your Heart and Hope Not to Die" and "Sk8ter H8ter." With the Heavy V CAST Entertainment channel, V CAST customers can be the first to view hip video clips that are sure to crank up the laugh factor.

"We're committed to delivering programming that people want, in the formats they want and on the hottest devices they demand," said Alex Green, general manager of Heavy's mobile division. "Heavy's video programming is being optimized for V CAST customers who want to take their entertainment with them on the go as we provide fans with the best video content in the palms of their hands."

Ryan Hughes, director of content and programming for Verizon Wireless, said, "This arrangement allows Heavy's loyal fans and new viewers instant access to its latest programming. Our new relationship with Heavy gives V CAST customers a VIP pass to view Heavy's hot comedic programming."

A true digital entertainment content and distribution pioneer, Heavy was the first to offer downloadable video content for the Sony PSPTM — and it was the first to offer video programs free for iPod downloads via sponsor support.

V CAST from Verizon Wireless allows customers to view video clips from the hottest names in entertainment, news, sports and more in the palms of their hands. V CAST is currently available to more than 150 million Americans and runs on Verizon Wireless' broadband network, the most robust, award-winning wireless broadband network in the nation.

To get V CAST from Verizon Wireless, customers simply equip their V CAST-enabled phones with a V CAST VPak subscription for $15.00 monthly access added to their Verizon Wireless calling plan. Unlimited basic video clips are included, but application download fees apply for 3D games and premium video. There are no airtime charges to download, stream or watch V CAST content.
