ORLANDO, FL — In response to surging demand for the latest wireless voice and data services in Central Florida, Verizon Wireless has opened a new 3,400-square-foot retail location in Waterford Lakes. The full-service store is located at 626 North Alafaya Trail in Waterford Lakes Center, and staff there already are serving customers through a dedicated customer service area, an expanded demonstration floor and a self-serve bill-payment kiosk.
The store will celebrate its grand opening October 7-14, with complimentary food and refreshments, drawings for wireless merchandise, and local radio stations broadcasting live onsite. Also, new customers will be able to take advantage of special discounts that week, such as $25 off the price of any phone priced at $100 or higher, and waived activation fee ($35 value) with a two-year contract.
"This Waterford Lakes store is part of our commitment to provide our customers here with increased convenience and responsive customer service," said Mike Lanman, Florida region president for Verizon Wireless. "Every day, more people in Orlando are taking advantage of the state's most reliable wireless network, finding fun and value in new services like V CAST, getPIX Picture Messaging and BroadbandAccess high-speed wireless data."
Store hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and on Sundays, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Store manager Daniel Peters can be reached at 407-823-7751.
