Orangeburg, SC — In a continuing effort to provide the best wireless service for residents and visitors in Orangeburg, South Carolina, Verizon Wireless, operator of the nation's most reliable wireless network, has renovated the local Orangeburg Verizon Wireless communications store and expanded its network with several new cell sites.

The newly renovated store, located at 2718 North Road, features the full range of Verizon Wireless products and services and is fully staffed for customer service and technical support, allowing customers to speak with Verizon Wireless' highly trained representatives about all their wireless needs.

The new store also features:

  • A top-of-the-line self-service center with bill payment kiosk
  • An informational video displayed on an LCD screen provides customers with information on the latest handsets and accessories, the Verizon Wireless network, wireless tips, roadside assistance, customer service and account management options

Increasing coverage is part of Verizon Wireless' aggressive network investment each year to stay ahead of the growing demand in South Carolina for the company's voice and data services, including the popular TXT Messaging, Picture Messaging, National Access wireless Internet access and Get It Now® ring tones, games, productivity applications and more.

The new sites increase coverage and capacity in the following areas:

  • Downtown Orangeburg
  • Town of Neeses
  • Town of Norway
  • Hwy 321 between Neeses and Norway
