IRVINE, CA — Networks In Motion, the award-winning wireless navigation and location-based services (LBS) company, today announced that their work on Verizon Wireless' VZ NavigatorTM, a real-time GPS navigation service for mobile phones based on its LBS NAVBuilderTM platform, was named an Innovations 2007 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree in the Wireless Peripherals category at today's International CES Press Preview event in New York City. Honoree products will be displayed in the Innovations 2007 Showcase, booth #68747, Innovations Plus at the Sands Expo and Las Vegas Convention Center during the 2007 International CES, Jan. 8-11, 2007 in Las Vegas.

VZ Navigator provides all the features of an advanced car navigation system on a wide variety of GPS-enabled mobile phones. Available to Verizon Wireless customers with select Get It Now®-enabled phones for just $9.99 per month or $2.99 per day, VZ Navigator provides voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions with auto-rerouting if customers miss a turn, local search of nearly 14 million points of interest in the U.S.-including restaurants, gas stations, ATM machines and hotels-and detailed color maps that can be quickly panned and zoomed.
