Verizon Wireless and Motorola Team To Sponsor Robby Gordon Motorsports in 2007

DAYTONA, FL — Verizon Wireless announced today that it is teaming up with Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) to sponsor Robby Gordon Motorsports in the NASCAR Busch Series throughout the 2007 season.

The Robby Gordon Motorsports / Motorola No. 7 Ford Fusion will debut at the Orbitz 300 at the Daytona International Speedway on February 17. The Robby Gordon Motorsports / Verizon Wireless No. 55 Ford Fusion will debut at the Kobalt 500 at the Atlanta Motor Speedway on March 18. "The NASCAR Busch Series is an exciting and dynamic sport followed by millions of our customers and other consumers," said Jim McGean, South Area President of Verizon Wireless. "We're proud to team up with Motorola and Robby Gordon Motorsports to connect with our customers and race fans."

The sponsorship will allow Verizon Wireless and Motorola to provide customers with Busch Series-themed events and offers such as giveaways and contests for race tickets and other popular NASCAR merchandise. Verizon Wireless and Motorola logos will appear on the Robby Gordon Motorsports Busch Series Ford Fusions, driver and crew member uniforms during the 2007 NASCAR Busch Series racing season.

The NASCAR Busch Series Orbitz 300 race begins at the historic Daytona International Speedway at 1:15 pm EST on February 17 and is scheduled to air on ESPN2.
