ORANGEBURG, NY — Three Rockland County residents have received the Verizon Wireless President's Award for Excellence, which recognizes employees for exceptional teamwork, leadership and outstanding customer service.

Wendy Tacetta, supervisor of sales operations and a resident of Congers, NY, earned the award for developing a highly-detailed comprehensive computer database used by the company's business-to-business sales team.

Kevin Morehead, a senior radio frequency design engineer from New City, NY, was recognized for his work to design in-building network systems installed in the offices of several large Verizon Wireless business customers in New York City.

Harry Pierre-Louis, senior technical analyst and a resident of Monsey, NY, took the award for spearheading the development and implementation of the software images that support many Verizon Wireless customer service displays and kiosks.

The three Rockland County residents were part of a group of five Verizon Wireless employees to receive the President's Award of Excellence at the New York Metro Region's annual kick-off meeting last month.
