INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Verizon Wireless has named Nick Doherty, of Plainfield, Indiana to the company's prestigious President's Cabinet.

Doherty, a retail sales representative at the Verizon Wireless Communications Store at 8940 U.S. Route 31 South, Indianapolis, demonstrated exceptional sales leadership in 2006 by providing Indianapolis area customers with outstanding service related to company products and service plans. He earned the award by meeting several criteria, including being ranked in the top 1.17 percent nationally in 2006 sales, placing him as one of the company's top performers among its more than 17,000 sales executives.
