Verizon Wireless Offers TXT :-) Customers Greater Value

BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Beginning today, Verizon Wireless is rolling out two new messaging plans perfect for customers who LUV 2 TXT. The new plans offer customers more Text, Picture and Video Messages for the same cost, providing greater value and cost savings on one of Verizon Wireless' most popular services. The $15 plan now offers customers 1,500 Messages to send and receive instead of 1,000; the $20 plan offers 5,000 messages to send and receive instead of 2,500. Both plans include Unlimited IN Messaging which gives customers unlimited Text, Picture and Video Messages to other Verizon Wireless customers.

Verizon Wireless customers can choose the plan that's best for them from the following options:

• $5 per month for 250 Messages sent and received
• $10 per month for 500 Messages sent and received, plus get Unlimited IN Messaging
• $15 per month for 1,500 Messages sent and received, plus get Unlimited IN Messaging
• $20 per month for 5,000 Messages sent and received, plus get Unlimited IN Messaging

Messages over the IN Messaging plan allotment will be billed $0.10 for each message sent or received. Customers who do not purchase a text messaging bundle pay $0.15 for each message sent or received.

To upgrade their messaging plan, customers should call customer service at 1-800-2 JOIN IN or *611 from a wireless phone; there is no contract extension required. Customers can also upgrade their messaging plan by using My Account, Verizon Wireless' online account management and customer service tool that provides customers with 24-hour online access to all of their billing, payment and account-related information.
