The multi-functional Jabra BT8010 will be sold as a standard headset but can be turned into a fully functional Bluetooth stereo headset for listening to music with the addition of a separately purchased stereo earpiece.

"We set out to create a headset that combines high performance mono and stereo headset functionality with the design users have come to expect from Jabra," said David Wood, senior vice president and general manager for GN Netcom / Jabra North American operations. The seamless functionality of the product makes listening to music and taking calls as simple as can be."

"Music is a permanent part of the wireless landscape," said Patrick Bucci, director of accessory products for Verizon Wireless.
