Verizon Wireless Celebrates Grand Opening Of New Communications Store In Findlay, Ohio

FINDLAY, OH — To stay ahead of the growing demand for its products and services, Verizon Wireless, the nation's wireless leader in customer loyalty, will officially celebrate the grand opening of its newly relocated Communications Store in Findlay with an array of activities on Friday, April 20.
As part of the grand opening celebration, which takes place at 4:00 p.m., Verizon Wireless will make a $1,000 donation to Open Arms of Findlay, a local non-profit organization that provides services to victims of domestic violence. Other activities include a ribbon-cutting ceremony, a WCKY-FM radio remote broadcast and the kickoff of the Communication Store's special monthlong phone drive to collect no-longer-used wireless handsets and accessories for the company's award-winning HopeLine® program. For every handset collected at the Findlay store from April 20 through May 20, Verizon Wireless will contribute $5 to Open Arms, a domestic violence shelter.
In addition to the grand opening activities, consumers will have the opportunity to sample the latest in wireless technology including The enV by LG-the ultimate in mobile entertainment.
The new 3,500-square-foot store, located at 15073 State Route 224E, is more than three times the size of Verizon Wireless' previous retail location in the Findlay area.
