9 Squared and the Legendary Band Phish Enter Exclusive Agreement for Content Distribution

DENVER and BASKING RIDGE, NJ — 9 Squared, a MonsterMob Group Company (GB:MOB) and global leader in mobile media solutions, announces the exclusive distribution of mobile content for the legendary live band, Phish. The band's ring tones and ringback tones will be available through Verizon Wireless' VZW Tones Deluxe application on Get It Now^®-enabled phones for an exclusive period. Verizon Wireless customers can also text "PHISH" to 8913 to have their favorite Phish tones sent straight to their phones.

"Our fans have been requesting that we make ring tones available," says keyboardist, Page McConnell. "Because we retained ownership of our live concerts and music catalog we've been able to keep up with the technology of distribution. We were the first band to make live concerts immediately available for download and we're very excited now to be moving into mobile distribution of that content."

Phish originated in 1983 with four members that remained the original band throughout the better part of 21 years, breaking up in 2004. Word of mouth and originality is what drove the band to ongoing success in both record sales and concert attendance. Never playing songs the same way twice and keeping the audience involved in interactive movements and lyrics brought the fan base to consistent sold-out shows over the last two decades.

Phish has built a unique reputation by encouraging fans to record its live shows, and paving the way for artists in the digital world through the online community, www.livephish.com. The band has proven that their success goes far beyond ticket and record sales. The exclusive agreement will provide content containing sections of songs from the current livephish.com catalog, chosen personally by the band members. The Phish campaign will be supported by online banner advertising and links from www.phish.com and www.livephish.com to the Verizon Wireless Web site, www.verizonwireless.com/music.
