BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Verizon Wireless, the leading wireless company with the most reliable voice and data network, and Wind-up Records, the largest independent record label, announced today that V CAST Music customers can now purchase and download the entire Wind-up Records music catalog right over-the-air on their V CAST Music-capable phones. Featuring songs from popular artists — including Evanescence, Seether, Finger Eleven, 12 Stones, Stars of Track and Field, Drowning Pool, Creed & Scott Stapp — and hit soundtracks, such as from the movie, "Walk the Line," Verizon Wireless now offers customers more independent music in its 1.9 million song V CAST Music catalog. Verizon Wireless customers with V CAST Music phones can also personalize their phones with Wind-up artists' Ringtones and Ringback tones, such as the exclusive Ringtone and Ringback tone of Evanescence's current single, "Sweet Sacrifice" and Finger Eleven's "Paralyzer."

Verizon Wireless customers can purchase and download Ringtones, Ringback tones and full-track V CAST Music songs over-the-air from the following Wind-up Records artists and soundtracks:

V CAST Music from Verizon Wireless offers more than 1.9 million songs, over-the-air from both well-known and independent artists. V CAST Music runs on Verizon Wireless' award-winning broadband network, and customers can also download songs to Windows® XP PCs, plus sideload — or transfer — their existing compatible digital music collections for free to their V CAST Music-enabled handsets or memory cards.

Purchases from the phone include two copies of every song, one for the phone and one for the PC.
