Verizon Wireless Opens First Communications Store In St. Charles, Illinois

ST. CHARLES, IL — Verizon Wireless has announced the opening of its first Communications Store in St. Charles, bringing to local consumers the hottest wireless phones and newest technology operating on the nation's most reliable network.
Meaghan Felumlee of Algonquin has been named as manager of the new store, and will oversee a team of nine employees-all local residents (including two from St. Charles). They are:

- Ugo Diru of Bloomingdale Retail Sales Representative
- Geoff Ford of Aurora Retail Sales Representative
- Owen Lauerman of St. Charles Retail Sales Representative
- Jaime Ruiz of Aurora Retail Sales Representative
- Rich Guzick of Batavia Customer Service Representative
- Angelica Ramirez of Oswego Customer Service Representative
- Robb Simpson of Elgin Customer Service Representative
One sales representative and one customer service representative are bilingual to help serve Hispanic customers in the area. The 4,000-square-foot store, located at 124 S. Kirk Road, includes separate sales and customer service areas.

"Demand for our wireless products and services continues to grow as more consumers take advantage of our recent network expansion in this area.
"With this new store, we offer customers in the community the very latest wireless communications technology in a modern, well-equipped, customer-friendly environment," continued Fox. "Our local sales team delivers a high level of customer support and provides a broad range of equipment and service plans to suit every need."
The St. Charles store, which is one of more than 100 company-owned Communications Stores and kiosks in Illinois, is open Monday though Saturday from 9 a.m. 8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. 6 p.m. The store's phone number is 630-513-5326.
