Verizon Wireless Offers Gurnee, Illinois, Residents Increased Convenience With Opening Of New Communications Store

GURNEE, IL — In response to the growing demand for the hottest wireless phones and newest technology operating on the nation's most reliable wireless voice and data network, Verizon Wireless has opened a new Communications Store in Gurnee.
Rhett Mitchell of Lindenhurst, has been named manager of the new store and will oversee a team of 10 employees. The company has hired four new employees and will hire an additional three people in the coming weeks to help staff the store. Recently hired are:
- Dave Jackson of Waukegan assistant manager
- Philip Van Dusen of Racine, Wis. retail sales representative
- Luciana Queiorz of Kenosha, Wis. retail sales representative
- Adam Bubash of Lindenhurst customer service representative
In addition to Mitchell, Verizon Wireless employees transferring from other company locations to help staff the new store are:
- Henry Sanchez of Round Lake assistant manager
- Carolyn Daniels of Waukegan retail sales representative
- Christopher Taber of Lakemoor retail sales representative
One sales representative and one customer service representative are bilingual to help serve Hispanic customers in the area.

"Demand for our wireless products and services continues to grow as more consumers take advantage of our recent network expansion in this area.

"Our local sales team delivers a high level of customer support and provides a broad range of equipment and service plans to suit every need."
The Gurnee store, located at 6543 Grand Avenue, is open Monday though Saturday from 9 a.m.8 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m.6 p.m. The store's phone number is 847-855-6019.
Besides this new Communications Store, Verizon Wireless also has a store within the Circuit City in Gurnee at 6124 West Grand Avenue.
