LITTLE ROCK, AR — Verizon Wireless, the leading wireless company with the nation's most reliable voice and data network, today announced the opening of a new authorized retail outlet in Harrison to make shopping for the company's wireless voice and data products more convenient for local residents and businesses. The Cellphone Place now offers a wide variety of wireless phones, accessories and services from Verizon Wireless.
The Cellphone Place, owned by Ranee Sellars, is located at 1415 Hwy 62/65 in North Harrison. Store hours are Monday-Friday 9 a.m. 6 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. 2 p.m.
"With the opening of The Cellphone Place, residents of Harrison now have easy access to choose the nation's most reliable wireless network," said Tom Massey, Verizon Wireless indirect account manager for Arkansas.
Verizon Wireless launched its network in Harrison in April with 21 new cell sites equipped with the company's advanced high-speed Evolution Data Optimized (EVDO) technology. The launch was part of the company's continuing growth and investment to build the best network in Arkansas. Verizon Wireless has already invested more than $58 million in Arkansas since its launch in December 2005, and the coverage area continues to grow.
Customers may activate Verizon Wireless service at The Cellphone Place and shop for the latest in wireless technology including voice and data services like two-way text messaging, picture messaging and V CAST services which brings TV, music and other multimedia services to wireless phones over the company's high-speed broadband wireless network.
Verizon Wireless offers its 30-day Test Drive, an industry first that lets customers experience its network virtually risk-free for 30 days. If customers are not satisfied with their experience and take their number to another carrier, Verizon Wireless will refund their money for calls, equipment, activation fee and taxes.
