CHANDLER, AZ — Verizon Wireless will break new ground in wireless retail this week with the opening of its newest Communications Store in Tempe. The first of its kind in the Valley, the store is the next evolution in the wireless retail experience, offering consumers hands-on interaction with wireless voice, data, music and video services in a sleek, new full-service environment. The new store is located at the Tempe Marketplace, 2040 E. Rio Salado Pkwy. in Tempe.

"Our new 3,400 square-foot Tempe store provides plenty of space for both shopping and customer service, in keeping with our commitment to deliver the best possible wireless experience," said Tony Heyman, regional president of Verizon Wireless.
Just in time for the holidays, customers can check out the newest devices from Verizon Wireless including the Juke by Samsung, a hip music phone; and the BlackBerry® Pearl 8130 smartphone, the first 3G BlackBerry. Two additional exclusive devices featuring touch screens will hit the store shelves before Thanksgiving: the Venus by LG and The Voyager by LG.
