Since then, the company has introduced multiple unique artist relationships, as well as exclusive music services and devices. In 2006, Verizon Wireless rocked the mobile music industry with the introduction of its V CAST Music over-the-air music download service. Since then, Verizon Wireless has built a massive full-song V CAST Music library that currently contains more than 2.5 million songs from well-known and independent artists. Last summer, Verizon Wireless introduced V CAST Song ID, a cutting-edge music service that encourages music discovery and allows customers to identify and purchase songs from their phones.
