Verizon Wireless' Newest Denver-Area Communications Store In Westminster, Colorado Showcases "Evolutionary" Design

Customers get hands-on experience with the latest voice, data, music and video devices

DENVER, CO — Verizon Wireless will break new ground in wireless retail this week with the opening of its newest Communications Store in Westminster.

The 4,200 sq. ft. store is the next evolution in the wireless retail experience, offering consumers hands-on interaction with wireless voice, data, music and video services in a sleek, new full-service environment. The new store is located at 14583 Orchard Parkway (I-25 and 144th Ave., next to Macy's) in Westminster.

About the store

  • A dedicated demo zone where customers can explore the latest technology using interactive touch screens or be guided by product-savvy sales staff.
  • More than 55 working models of handsets, PC cards and other devices for customers to try.
  • A greeter kiosk that allows customers to check in and note their wireless needs, so representatives can quickly assist them.
  • A Bill Payment Kiosk that allows customers to make account payments and purchase prepaid minutes quickly and easily using checks, cash or credit/debit cards.
  • Customer Service and Technical Support departments, making it easy for customers to get the help they need from trained in-store staff.

The Westminster store is the latest in Verizon Wireless' national rollout of its new "Evolution" store design. By year end, more than 280 Verizon Wireless Communications Stores will reflect the new design.

"Making it easy for customers to learn about and choose wireless products and services is one more way we're working to ensure Verizon Wireless continues to lead the industry in customer loyalty," said Melanie Braidich, regional president of Verizon Wireless.

Verizon Wireless recently moved the industry forward with the introduction of new Nationwide Plans that offer Unlimited Anytime Minutes. The plans give customers all their calls — anytime to anyone in the U.S., including landline phones — at a flat rate for $99.99 monthly access.

In addition, new 50 Megabytes (MB) or 5 Gigabytes (GB) (5,120 MB) BroadbandAccess Plans offer customers two choices for Internet browsing, e-mail access and downloading files.
