RALEIGH, NC — Emily Faison, a Raleigh resident and indirect account manager for Verizon Wireless, has been named to the company's President's Cabinet for ranking in the top one percent nationally in sales.
Faison was one of just six people in North Carolina to earn the distinction for performance within the sales organization team, among the more than 26 indirect account managers at Verizon Wireless in the Carolinas/Tennessee region. She was also recognized for achieving highest year-over-year growth in 2007 by an indirect account manager in the Carolinas/Tennessee region.
As an indirect account manager, Faison manages the relationships with Verizon Wireless' indirect partners such as authorized agents at WalMart, BJ's Circuit City and Best Buy. She oversees indirect agents by training indirect agent employees and helping with the overall development of the business and expansion of Verizon Wireless' customer reach.
"Emily has a well-established reputation of outstanding performance throughout her tenure with Verizon Wireless," said Tim Butler, director of indirect sales. "She continually demonstrates exceptional sales leadership and has distinguished herself within the company."
