In addition to some of the most popular and iconic radio stations in America, we are making additional stations available to Verizon Hub users, including commercial-free Smooth Jazz, Fox Sports Radio, American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest, and the Verizon New Music Channel, which Clear Channel programs exclusively for Verizon Wireless. As the premiere provider of audio content for the Verizon Hub, our strong initial line-up of 14 diverse stations will be expanded quickly over the next 30-60 days, adding more great stations to the Verizon Hub’s offerings and bringing a spectrum of choices to listeners.”

Mike Lanman, vice president and chief marketing officer for Verizon Wireless, said, “Listening to the radio in the kitchen or anywhere in the house is something people have done for years and years, and working with Clear Channel and its iheartradio service gives Verizon Hub users access to some of the top stations from across the country. The addition of streaming Internet radio to the Verizon Hub so soon after launch demonstrates how simple it is to expand what it can bring to consumers, and we look forward to many new applications in the coming weeks and months.”

Available now from Verizon Wireless, the Verizon Hub is an easy-to-use system that puts a communications command center in the home. It bridges wireline and wireless connectivity and runs on any broadband connection – whether supplied by Verizon (FiOS Internet or DSL) or any other high-speed Internet service provider. To listen to these stations, current Verizon Hub users can click on the Internet Radio button, which has been downloaded automatically over the broadband connection, located under the V CAST icon on the applications screen.

Pricing and Availability
Customers need a wireless line of service from Verizon Wireless to purchase the communications command center. In addition, customers need a Verizon Digital Voice plan for the Verizon Hub, which is $34.99 a month and offers unlimited calling in the U.S., Canada, and U.S. Territories, including Puerto Rico, as well as unlimited messaging to and from Verizon Wireless phones. All of these services will appear on the customer’s Verizon Wireless monthly bill.

The Verizon Hub is available in Verizon Wireless Communications Stores across the country for $199.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a two-year agreement; additional cordless handsets, which can be placed throughout the home, are available for $79.99 each. For customers who do not own a wireless router, Verizon Wireless also offers a router to work with the Verizon Hub for $69.99.
