WARRENDALE, PA — Verizon Wireless has named Heather Salata, of Amity, Pa., to the company’s prestigious President’s Cabinet.

Salata, newly promoted retail sales supervisor at the Verizon Wireless Communications Store at 67800 Mall Ring Rd. in St. Clairsville, Ohio, demonstrated exceptional sales leadership in 2008 by providing customers at her previous location in Washington, Pa., with outstanding service related to company products and service plans. She earned the award by meeting several criteria, including being ranked in the top 1 percent in 2008 sales, placing her as one of the company’s top performers among its more than 18,000 sales people. Salata has been with the company for two years.
