NEW YORK, NY — Nearly 100 local families took part in the McGruff Safe Kids Total Identification System program last weekend at Verizon Wireless' Communications Stores in the Bronx. Trained professionals were on site to fingerprint and digitally photograph children. Parents received multiple ID cards to take home as well as DNA Self Collection Kits and McGruff Jr. Crimefighter Sticker Badges for the kids. The new video, “No, Not Me, Not Ever,” was on display to teach children important safety tips. The program, free of charge to families, will be offered again on March 28, from noon to 4 p.m at the company’s newest Communication Store located at 93 Washington Street in Hoboken, N.J.
