MINNEAPOLIS, MN — Verizon Wireless has named Mike O'Connell of Brooklyn Center, and Adam Shaw of Savage, to the company's prestigious President's Cabinet.
These Verizon Wireless employees demonstrated exceptional sales leadership in 2008 by providing customers with outstanding service related to company products and service plans. They earned the award by meeting several criteria, including being ranked in the top 1 percent in 2008 sales, placing them each as one of the company's top performers among more than 18,000 sales people.

O'Connell is a senior retail sales representative at the Verizon Wireless Communications Store at 1010 W. Lake St. in Minneapolis. He is a graduate of Concordia University in St. Paul.
Shaw is an account executive on the Business Sales team at Verizon Wireless' Plymouth location. He is currently a student at the University of Minnesota.
