BASKING RIDGE, NJ — NHL fans who don’t want to miss a single minute of pulsating Stanley Cup Playoff hockey between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Detroit Red Wings can watch the entire game live this weekend on their wireless phones with V CAST Video from Verizon Wireless.

On Sunday, beginning at 3 p.m. ET, the Red Wings will host the Blackhawks in the first game of the Western Conference Finals. V CAST customers can also sign up for Live Sports Alerts that will notify them when a game is about to start, by clicking Options at the bottom of the V CAST Video screen, then Configure Alerts, then following directions to V CAST Live Sports Alerts. Customers who set alerts will receive a text message on game day that will launch them directly into the action. Standard message rates or plans apply.

Customers with select V CAST-enabled phones can check out V CAST whenever they want for just $3.00 for 24-hour use or by signing up for the $15.00 V CAST VPak monthly subscription, which also includes access to the Verizon Wireless ESPN MVP service, Get It Now® and Mobile Web services. Customers get unlimited basic video, but application download fees may apply for 3D games and premium video. There are no airtime or megabyte charges to download, stream or watch V CAST content with any V CAST subscription.
