Kevin Zavaglia Named President Of Verizon Wireless' Northern California And Nevada Region

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Verizon Wireless has named Kevin Zavaglia president of Verizon Wireless’ Northern California and Nevada region effective May 1, 2009. Zavaglia, who most recently served as director of business sales in the New York metro region, will oversee sales, customer support and marketing for both Northern California and Northern Nevada. Zavaglia will report to Tami Erwin, Verizon Wireless West Area president.
"Kevin has earned a thorough understanding of wireless customers’ needs through his many years with Verizon Wireless in management, sales, operations and marketing assignments,” said Erwin. “His proven leadership and customer service skills make him the ideal choice to drive continued growth and success in the region.”
Zavaglia has more than 20 years experience in the wireless industry, including 15 years with Verizon Wireless. Prior to his role as director of business sales, he had various management assignments, including director of retail sales, director of indirect sales, and regional director of corporate accounts for the New York metro region.
