Verizon Wireless of Shelby, located at 1720 East Dixon Blvd., invites customers to learn more about BlackBerrys and PDAs at a Data 101 Workshop on September 30, 2009. Two complimentary sessions will be offered for customers' convenience at 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM and will last approximately one hour each.
Wireless technology evolves quickly and often times consumers can't keep up fast enough to take advantage of the broad range of useful features available on their wireless devices. Verizon Wireless is dedicated to providing the best customer service possible and wants to help customers learn how to maximize the usefulness of their BlackBerrys and PDAs to help simplify their lives.
A demonstration on how to use these devices will be followed by a Q&A period when customers can ask specific questions about their devices. (Attendees are encouraged to bring their personal devices). The demonstration will include:
- Setting up and using e-mail
- Syncing calendars and contact information
- Browsing the Web
- Using navigation functions
