Verizon Wireless Speeds Up The House-Hunting Process With Smarter Agent's Mobile Real Estate Application

SAN DIEGO, CAMDEN, NJ, and BASKING RIDGE, NJ — From CTIA WIRELESS I.T. & Entertainment 2009®, Smarter Agent, Inc., creator of Real Estate, the largest mobile real estate portal in the world, and Verizon Wireless, owner and operator of the most reliable wireless network in the country, today announced that Smarter Agent’s Real Estate application is now available on Verizon Wireless handsets, giving savvy customers the freedom to search for real estate information from their mobile devices.

The Real Estate application allows customers to instantly get facts about homes for sale and apartments for rent based on their GPS location, an address, community name, city or zip code. Users are able to see publicly available Multiple Listing Service (MLS) data, newspaper classifieds and other key stats for many locations. Search results with Smarter Agent include:

• Pictures

The application’s “Refine Search” feature lets users specify a property type, price range, the number of bedrooms or bathrooms for a property, along with distance so Smarter Agent can find listings that match their criteria. If the user has questions or wants to see inside, the “Call to See” feature will connect them to a real estate agent.
