BASKING RIDGE, NJ — Verizon Wireless said today it has added TLC as one of its exclusive channels on V CAST Mobile TV. TLC is part of Discovery Communications, and now popular shows such as "Cake Boss;" "What Not to Wear;" "Little People, Big World" and "18 Kids and Counting" will be available to V CAST Mobile TV customers.

TLC, a top 10 cable network for women and one of the most widely distributed cable networks in the United States, features high-quality docu-series and reality-based programming that engages the heart and mind by transporting viewers into the lives of real-life extraordinary characters. TLC programs are entertaining, unfiltered and always reveal something to learn along the way.

V CAST Mobile TV offers a wide variety of programming from live sporting events to news to popular entertainment shows. Customers can get full-length simulcast and time-shifted programming from TLC and other top channels, including ABC Mobile, CBS, CNBC, COMEDY CENTRAL, Disney Channel, ESPN MobileTV, FOX Mobile, MSNBC, MTV, NBC and Nickelodeon. Verizon Wireless also offers parental control features for V CAST Mobile TV, so parents can manage the programs their children watch on their phones.

V CAST Mobile TV from Verizon Wireless is powered by the award-winning FLO TV™ live mobile TV service from FLO TV Incorporated, a wholly owned subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated. The FLO TV service uses a technology that delivers programming in a linear format over the company's own dedicated network, so Verizon Wireless can offer customers the latest in mobile entertainment without having an impact on its award-winning voice and data services.

Verizon Wireless recently launched the HTC Imagio™, the company's first smartphone to support V CAST Mobile TV. Customers with the HTC Imagio and a V CAST Mobile TV subscription can watch news, sports and entertainment from popular programmers come to life on its extra-large 3.6" color display. V CAST Mobile TV is available for a monthly access package of $13 for Limited or $15 for Basic.
